Abby + Braden Engagements | Antelope Island
We did Abby and Braden’s engagements at Antelope Island state park. They are such a flexible couple as their plans have completely changed with the corona virus. They haven’t been bothered and have smooth sailing attitudes about the whole thing. They are the type of couple that know no matter what happens around them, they have each other and that is their focus.
Abby and Braden met in a class in 7th grade and were almost immediately interested in each other. One day they went paddle boarding, walked through IKEA, explored a park with a pond, attended a friend’s wedding reception, and cuddled that night. They both had such a great time that they both knew they wanted to get married after that.
When Braden proposed, he drove Abby around the county to a ton of significant locations, like where they went to school together, places where they had fun dates, and parks they’d explored. He ended in the spot where they had their first kiss, knelt down in the snow, and pulled out the ring. Abby said she barely got out a “yes” before she started bawling. That is definitely one for the books!
I noticed that Braden seems like the shy type and Abby brings out his inner goofball. Together they have a blast and we had fun together. Even Braden was impressed by how much fun we had; engagement sessions are basically like a super long, fancy date where I get to follow around while they do cute stuff all night. It’s great! They trekked across a whole mountain to get to this amazing spot and we climbed around boulders and froze in the chilly wind together. Totally worth it though! I love how they chose outfit colors to match the scenery and yet they stood out perfectly. What a great couple and a great engagement session!
