Erin + Bo Formals | Oquirrh Mountain Temple in South Jordan, Utah

Today I’d like to share photos from a recent formals session with Erin and Bo! These two were so excited to be together but so nervous to get their pictures taken. This was the first time each of them had ever had a professional photoshoot! I get that a lot with my couples! I love to see that emotion because I know exactly how to make you feel comfortable and provide a fun picture-taking experience to completely ease those nerves. This is another reason why it’s so great to do a formals session! It gets you used to having your picture taken in preparation for your big day.

We took Erin and Bo’s formals at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah. This session was in early February, which is usually freezing, but we lucked out and actually got a pretty warm and sunny evening! I love taking pictures at this gorgeous temple. The grounds are exquisitely beautiful and that big open field makes for lots of fun photos! In the spring, this temple has my favorite florals and blossoms. I hope I get to shoot there later in the year when it’s warm enough for those blooms!

Erin and Bo met while they were working in Minnesota. Erin is a flight attendant and Bo is a chemistry researcher. He was quiet when they first met, but she noticed him and made the initial contact to become friends, and later asked him out! He continued the tradition and asked her on a date every week after that, and they’ve been together ever since! They say they keep each grounded and love road trips, cooking together, watching movies, and since their recent move to Utah, they’ve taken to hiking!

I’m so excited for these two to tie the knot! I loved working with them for this shoot, and I hope you enjoy the result! Thanks to these incredible vendors for participating:
