Harry + Andrea Anniversary Session

Andrea and Harry are such a rock star couple. I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to photograph their engagement session at Tibble Fork Reservoir and the American Fork Amphitheater. The pair decided to actually tie the knot on a sunny Arkansas day! Then, after an absolutely beautiful wedding in their home state, Andrea was finally able to join Harry in Utah where he had relocated for work and they started their married life together.

Now, a year later, we got to meet in Utah again for another session, this time an anniversary session! There is nothing better than watching a couple grow and evolve through their relationship from engagement to anniversaries! We met for a sunrise session at the capitol building in Salt Lake City, Utah during the beautiful spring blossom season. Occasionally, the crowds can be absolutely crazy in the evenings when the trees are blossoming, so I always opt for sunrise sessions to avoid the crowds.

The morning of our session did end up being pretty chilly and windy (it even started snowing at the very end), but you’d never know how cold Andrea and Harry were because they smiled and giggled through the whole session! Weather can be such an unpredictable variable for photo sessions so I appreciate it when my clients have such a great attitude like Andrea and Harry!

Another part of the session that I was over the moon about was Andres's dress! I’m in loooove!. That color was absolutely stunning! I probably need to go buy one now! I love seeing what outfits my clients decide to wear to their photo sessions. Andrea was so confident wearing it and was practically glowing the entire time, despite the cold weather. It was so much fun to be a part of their special anniversary and I hope to be able to follow along with their story in the future!
