My Favorite Salt Lake City Wedding Venues
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Utah is one of the most beautiful states in the country. What’s more, Salt Lake City is the gorgeous capital that represents all of the wonderful things Utah has to offer. There are countless amazing wedding venues in Salt Lake City, which may be overwhelming to some, but what I love about the options for wedding venues here is that there is a unique location for everyone. It’s just a matter of finding it.
Hopefully I can help make your search for the perfect wedding venue a little easier by listing a few that I love. Being a wedding photographer, I’ve been to a few gorgeous ceremonies here in Salt Lake, so I have lots of experience in this area! In this blog post, I have compiled a list of four of my favorite Salt Lake City wedding venues to share with you.
1. The Grand America Hotel
The Grand America Hotel is absolutely iconic to Salt Lake City. It sits right on main street, in the heart of the city. Perfect for brides who want a more formal wedding, the Grand America Hotel has elegant ballrooms with beautiful arched ceilings and glass chandeliers. There is also an open courtyard for summer brides. Because it’s also a hotel, couples who get married here love to come back for anniversaries and be reminded of the magic of their wedding day.
2. Log Haven Restaurant
This restaurant venue sits right in the middle of Utah’s gorgeous mountain scenery. The Log Haven Restaurant is perfect for rustic summer weddings, both big and small. It’s an all-in-one location, with space for the ceremony, reception, and pictures. What more could you ask for than a stunning mountain landscape as the background for your wedding? The Log Haven Restaurant is accommodating and perfect for couples who want an either an outdoor or indoor wedding.
3. Cottage Charm Venue
This cozy little location is exactly as it sounds: charming. The beautiful Cottage Charm Venue may seem unassuming on the exterior, but the inside is full of personality and detail. This location is perfect for brides who want a simple wedding, because it can be rented with full decorations. This includes tables and seating, candles, lanterns, and lights. This indoor location is perfect for weddings at any time of the year.
4. Venue 6SIX9
While the last location I talked about is perfect for couples who want the decorating done for them, Venue 6SIX9 is just the opposite: a big, open space for brides to completely customize their wedding decorations. This industrial-style area is good for both large and small weddings. Venue 6SIX9 offers lots of natural light for the daytime events, and would look gorgeous all lit up with bistro lights during a nighttime reception or dancing. This customizable space makes it popular for brides with any style.
These are just four of the countless options for wedding venues in Salt Lake, but they are some of the most beautiful locations this city has to offer. Did you get married in Salt Lake City? Share your venue in the comments so we can keep a running list of beautiful spaces!
