This bridal session shot by Clarity Lane Photography in Salt Lake City, Utah was filled with romance and dramatic wedding details. professional salt lake city wedding photographer, long bridal veil train, long wedding dress, train, wedding dress wit…

Finally, a love story that COVID didn’t manage to mess up! Meet Rachel + Jason—brought together by COVID and the most photogenic couple ever, right?!? They chose me as their photographer because I had previously done their friend’s engagements, Claire and Josh. I am so delighted they chose me to do their formals because again, they are so photogenic and a photographer’s dream to capture!

Rachel + Jason have known each other for over 2 years. They both love traveling and plan to spend a month working remotely in the Caribbean for part of their honeymoon. How dreamy! Rachel says Jason is a complete sweetheart. He is romantic and very selfless. He says helping Rachel is his favorite thing to do! Rachel loves Jason because he is so considerate and does anything he can to support her. Rachel has nothing but respect and love for Jason. Jason loves Rachel for her beauty inside and out. She is driven and motivated and super smart. Jason says he can talk to her about anything and he loves how down to earth she is.

These two met at a party, where funnily enough, Rachel was on a date with another guy. They started dating, but then Rachel ended things, which she soon regretted. A year later, Rachel was supposed to be on study abroad and Jason was supposed to be in Seattle for work, but because of COVID, plans changed and they were brought back together. I guess COVID finally did one thing right!

When they got engaged, Rachel’s neighbor, who does photography. called saying he wanted to practice more portraits on someone other than his wife. She suspected maybe it was for the proposal, but when she had rescheduled because she was sick, Jason and the photographer didn’t seem to mind at all, so she decided against it being for the proposal. The following week they went to do the photos at one of their favorite spots where Jason surprised Rachel with a beautiful proposal. Not only were able to have this special moment photographed, but Rachel’s family surprised her there as well. What a special engagement!

These two lovers are getting married in January at the Draper temple and the reception is at Le Jardine. After their wedding, they will move to Seattle for Jason’s work and they can’t wait to start their life together while they explore a new city with each other. I am so glad I was able to be a part of this beautiful formals session with this meant-to-be couple!
