Rachel + Jason Wedding

Say hello to Rachel + Jason, again! We did formals together here and now I am so excited to share with you their beautiful wedding day that I was so lucky to be a part of!

These two lovers were destined to marry and COVID made sure they did! Soon after the two first met, Jason was supposed to be at an internship for Microsoft in Seattle while Rachel would have been across the world studying abroad in Europe. Had either of these things happened, these two may have never married, which would have been so sad for all three of us! But fate (and COVID) had other plans, which brought these two together, which led to them getting married.

The wedding day started at the Draper, Utah temple for their sealing. I waited outside for them along with their excited immediate families. We took family photos and newlywed portraits at the Draper Temple, which is so beautiful. It has a really modern feel to it, which I love. My favorite part of photographing them was that Rachel’s long veil made for the dreamiest couples photos!

We then moved on to the dinner and reception venue at La Jardin for another round of photos, and then dinner, speeches, and a super fun partying reception. My favorite part of the night is when they danced their first dance to "If The World Was Ending" because it was so beautiful and perfect for their relationship. The best part, though, was when the first dance transitioned into a choreographed sibling line dance by Rachel and her family and the whole bridal party. It was epic! What a fun couple and family! They ended the night with a signature sparkler exit and headed out at 4 am the next morning to fly to their tropical honeymoon. What an adventure!

It was so much fun shooting Rachel + Jason for both their formals and wedding. They are a beautiful couple and I am so glad I got to witness their "meant-to-be" love story!
