Sydney + Jack Engagements | Antelope Island, Northern Utah

Looking for a place to hold your engagement session in early spring? It’s kind of hard to find a good place where the wildflowers and greenery aren’t totally dead. So where do I take my couples who still want a beautiful backdrop? Antelope Island. It’s the perfect location for mid-April because it’s beautifully alive, even in the cold!

I loved shooting these lovebirds’ engagements earlier this year! Sydney is just soooo sweet and smiley, and Jack was an adorable gentleman as he helped her walk through the crazy rocky places in her heels. He’s a great guy!

These two met three years ago at a softball game Jack was playing in. They went to dinner after the game with friends but didn’t connect for almost two years until Jack messaged Sydney on Instagram and asked to hang out. After that, it was game over!

To propose, Jack pulled out all the stops. He took Sydney on his boss’s private jet to Los Angeles on Valentine’s day and the next day took her to a five-star lunch and then on to a beach near Laguna. He’d had her friends set up a blanket with pictures and lights and he popped the question right there on the beach! It sounded like a beautiful, perfect proposal, and I’m so happy for these two to finally tie the knot!
