Tessa + Scott Wedding

Is there anything better than a May wedding, with perfect weather, that is basically COVID-FREE?! It felt so amazing to shoot a wedding again that was normal--no masks, no extreme limiting of gatherings, no rules preventing the couple from having the wedding of their dreams. It was an amazing reminder of what life was like before the pandemic and I was smiling ear to ear the entire wedding because it felt so good to be back to normal!

This beautiful couple is Tessa + Scott. I met Tessa while she was a bridesmaid at a previous wedding I had done for her friend last summer. I always love when I get hired by clients who saw me in action and loved my work. It is so flattering!

The wedding took place at the Mt. Timpanogas LDS Temple in Highland, Utah. I love this temple because it has those gorgeous Utah mountains in the background, making for the most incredible photos. Anytime there are mountains in the backdrop of photoshoots, I am a happy photographer! Not to mention the blossoms were in full bloom at the temple and absolutely stunning.

The reception took place at the Stone Gate Weddings and Events Center in Pleasant Grove, which is just down the street from the temple, so that was super convenient. This event center is timeless, classy, and perfect for any wedding. I love that they chose navy blue as one of their wedding colors. You don't see pops of color too often at weddings anymore, so it's always so fun to photograph a wedding when someone chooses a gorgeous color pop.

The reception had the most delicious food that was catered by the venue and overall just had the most fun vibe. The night was full of friends and family who loved the couple and the joy was palpable, which made for such a good time. The night ended my favorite way, with a sparkler send-off. Those always make for the most magical photos.

Thank you so much for letting me share in your celebration, Tessa + Scott. It was such a sweet, joyous, and COVID-FREE wedding day!

xoxo
