Light + Neutral Styled Shoot | Provo's Natural Light Studio
If you know me at all, you know I LOVE participating in styled shoots. It’s like reenacting my dream wedding design over and over again with small tweaks! All this newfound knowledge and design insight I’ve acquired over the past couple of years as a wedding photographer and developing my own style would have come in really handy if I could go back in time to when I was planning my own wedding.
This shoot was in Provo’s Natural Light Studio, and I couldn’t ask for a better, more beautiful open space to pull off something like this. It was a perfect backdrop and setting! We chose a light, neutral color palette for this styled photoshoot to highlight some favorite light + airy wedding decor finds. We hope this shoot can be some grand inspiration for you if you’re planning your own wedding and trying to decide on the perfect colors. Neutral is the way to go!
I love how classy neutral tones look together on the wedding day. They’re timeless, flattering on all, and allow you to highlight specific special elements of the day with pops of color, like an heirloom gold necklace, a favorite color or flower in your bouquet, or using neutral colors could even allow the setting to get a bit of time in the spotlight, like if you host a reception in a beautiful grove of trees or near a hillside with colored wildflowers.
