My 5 Favorite Utah County Wedding Venues

Picking the right wedding venue is one of the most important decisions you will make for your wedding, a decision that is *almost* as important and hiring an amazing wedding photographer. This is why today I am guiding you on how to find the perfect wedding venue for your big day.

I'm going to be sharing a few tips of things to check for when picking your venue, plus I'm including my 5 favorite wedding venues to choose from in Utah. Trust me, I've seen them all, and these ones are incredible!

Tip 1 | When choosing a venue, know how big your guest list is expected to be. You don't want a venue that is too small for the large number of people you have because nobody likes being in a crowded space. On the other hand, you don't want to book a huge venue if you are planning a smaller, more intimate wedding. The extra space will feel awkward. Be sure your venue has the right amount of space you need for your specific wedding party.

Tip 2 | Ask what furniture/linens are included with the venue and if they allow outside vendors. Having furniture and linens included with the venue is a really nice feature and one you shouldn't quickly overlook. Also being allowed to bring in outside vendors is a great option so you can make the wedding more personal by having the food you want at your wedding.

Tip 3 | When touring venue options, be mindful of the lighting and color of the walls and ceiling. A brighter space will make for better photos, so look for large windows and white walls when possible. Also look for key features of the venue that stand out to you that would make a beautiful backdrop for photos such as a fireplace, waterfall, or a beautiful gazebo.

Now that you know what to look for in a venue, here are my 5 favorite venues for you to check out in Utah:

  1. White Shanty
This large industrial space is perfect for the modern couple. It has huge windows, sliding barn doors, and the coolest handmade furniture, which makes this bright venue unique and stunning!

  2. Wadley Farms

Vineyards, orchards, and a cobblestone castle. Need I say more!? This gorgeous property has multiple indoor and outdoor spaces to fit your needs! The castle is especially my favorite with the grand staircase inside.

  3. Provo City Library

This is a wide-open classic space that you can easily make your own. It is conveniently centrally located in Provo and has the perfect staircase for a sparkler exit. The ballroom has white walls, gold accents, and tons of space.

  4. Walker Farms

This place has picturesque grounds, a covered outdoor ceremony, a spacious bridal suite, and a two-story great hall in the barn. It offers tons of space and modern/chic elements.

  5. Thanksgiving Point

This place has so much to offer! Choose between 15 themed gardens, 50 acres of manicured gorgeousness, waterfalls, and everything in between. Their Loggia space in the rose garden is perfect for ceremonies!

    BONUS - Sleepy Ridge

This is a gorgeous golf course grounds with lake access, rolling meadows, and a giant elegant clubhouse. Talk about classy! Plus, they have different event spaces available depending on your group’s size.
