Gwyneth + Jake | San Francisco Wedding Day

I’m so excited to share Gwyneth and Jake’s California wedding with you all today! I was able to shoot their engagement photos a few months back and was delighted to work with them again for their wedding day. The day was absolutely gorgeous and full of family and friends. Gwyneth and Jake are as sweet and fun as they are gorgeous, and we had such a fun time together.

The Ceremony

The wedding day started with their sealing at the Oakland LDS Temple and was followed by photos of the family and bridal party. We had so much fun with these photos thanks to supportive family and hilarious groomsmen. And as you can see, we completely lucked out with clear blue skies, a real treat in San Francisco!

The Ring Ceremony

Following the pictures outside the temple, we headed to the Palace of Fine Arts for Gwyneth and Jake’s ring ceremony. In true San Francisco style, the weather turned a bit windy and chilly, but this made for a visually stunning ceremony. Gwyneth’s veil took on a life of its own, but that only added to the fun energy of the day.

After the ring ceremony, we took some newlywed photos at the Palace of Fine Arts and along the beach. The light was beautiful and Gwyneth and Jake were giddy to finally be married!

The Reception

The wedding day ended with a reception at the Golden Gate Yacht Club. Both sets of parents and siblings gave wonderful speeches to the newlywed couple. Attendees were treated to custom drinks and an incredible sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge. After dinner and a few hours of dancing, Gwyneth and Jake left on their honeymoon with a streamer exit.

It was such a beautiful day from start to finish, and I’m honored I was able to capture it for them! Gwyneth and Jake are a wonderful couple and are so supportive of one another’s dreams (he is a triathlete, and she wants to get her Ph.D. and become a professor). I really can’t wait to see where life takes these two.
