Quynh + Huong | Thanksgiving Point Formals

Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, UT is always a gorgeous location for a session. They have beautiful backdrop options for every season, but summer is my favorite. The hundreds of roses in the Ashton Gardens are blooming, and it is breathtaking!

I met my couple, Quynh and Huong, at the entrance of the Ashton Gardens, and we golf carted around the gardens all evening. My only worry was that the weather would be unbearably warm, but we went in the evening when the weather had cooled down, and it was perfect. The grounds of Ashton Gardens are made up of 50 acres of manicured gardens, stately lawns, and the largest manmade waterfall in America. Even better, the space is set up so that 17 individual gardens are separated by natural barriers, meaning that we had no shortage of photo locations. However, I always end up spending most of my time in the rose gardens. They remind me of the Italian gardens you see in the movies or read about in romance novels! To be there with this stylish bride and groom was magical.

Both Quynh and Huong were dressed to the nines! This bride and groom looked so classy together. I especially loved Quynh’s delicate details. She opted for a long cathedral veil for the first half of the session, then switched to some detachable capes that fluttered on either shoulder. She looked so elegant and feminine! Huong looked so sharp in his black tuxedo and bow tie. They looked incredible together.

At the end of the session, we were able to take advantage of the waning golden light and snag a few extra photos. Quynh and Huong weren’t able to fit in an engagement session, so they changed into some non-wedding attire and we captured some really sweet engagements. I love that they took the time to squeeze in these photos while we were in such a gorgeous location! I had so much fun doing this photoshoot with Quynh and Huong in the gardens at Thanksgiving Point. If you are near the Utah Valley area or are willing to travel, it is a perfect location for any type of photos!
