Scotty + Curtis Engagements | Provo, Utah
I’m so excited to share these photos today. Scotty is a dear friend of mine from my hometown of Colorado! Our families have always been close friends, growing up going to the same church. I was thrilled when Scotty reached out to ask me to be their photographer!
Both Scotty and Curtis are attending BYU. Scotty is studying Elementary Education and Curtis is preparing to be a dentist. Our session was full of laughter, gorgeous fall colors, and the two happiest people, just so in love with each other!
Fun fact: Scotty’s favorite color is yellow so we made sure to include lots of it in their photos. And doesn’t that yellow dress totally give you Kate Middleton vibes? Scotty is a total queen in my book.
Some of the things Scotty loves about Curtis is his humor, sweet smile, and his amazing cooking skills. The things Curtis said made him fall for Scotty are her beautiful smile, her crab/chicken dance, and that “she has kisses sweeter than candy”.
Wanna hear how they met? So did I. These two actually met at church their very first Sunday of the school year. They chatted about their marathons, and then Scotty ended up leaving with her roommates without even saying goodbye! They got to know each other through weekly Family Home Evening activities and church and eventually started dating.
Curtis proposed in California while the two were on a beautiful trail called the Esplanade Trail, underneath a peaceful canopy of trees. I can’t wait to see these two tie the knot!
