When I first started shooting, I was just as panicked as you might be. I wondered how to do basic things like turn my flash on and off, or what the numbers meant, and how I was supposed to understand the math and fractions involved in photography when I was never a math whiz! But now that I know what I’m looking for and have a full, comprehensive understanding of flash, I’m eager to share this with my fellow photographers to ease their stress and frustration and allow them to produce the results they dream of.
I majored in photography, received a Bachelor of Arts, and even worked at two universities as a professional photographer to learn these technical skills. I spent years perfecting my craft so I could leave the corporate world and become a wedding photographer and educator full-time. My formal education taught me all the technical and artistic rules I’m not passing on to you!
