Ally + Noah Engagements | Albion Basin, Northern Utah Photographer
Meet Ally and Noah; it was so fun to hear about their love story as we shot their engagement photos! Baseball player meets a cheerleader, and the rest is history as they say. Ally and Noah are obviously head-over-heels for each other and lift each other up so much.
Seeing these two interact and make the other smile at their photo session was too cute. We shot their engagements at Albion Basin in the town of Alta at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon near Sandy, Utah. In the late summer, the basin is full of wildflowers, and with some lucky timing we were able to shoot when these gorgeous flowers were at their peak! I can’t think of anything more romantic for a summer engagement shoot than to be in a meadow of wildflowers.
It’s a bit of a drive to get to Albion Basin, but when you see the gorgeous views you’ll agree that it was worth the drive. This location is only open in the summer, and it’s definitely one of my favorite locations to shoot! Does it get any more beautiful than up in the Utah mountains?
Noah and Ally’s wedding is also going to be a beautiful day. Their wedding is being planned by Michelle Leo Events and will take place in Ally’s South Jordan backyard. I can’t wait to see how their modern and minimal style translates into a beautiful wedding day!
Also on a random note for my other romance junkies: Ally and Noah are the names of the main characters from The Notebook, just spelled differently. Sounds like I need to give that movie another watch this weekend!
