Julie + David Wedding

Aren’t these photos just the sweetest? Julie and David were so fun to work with! I had the best time getting to know them during their wedding day. I’ve said it a million times, but one of the best parts of my job is the fact that I get to be around people who are just happy and in love. Julie and David definitely checked that box!

I love to share a little bit about how my couples got engaged and this story is one of the cutest. Julie and David love to travel and camp, and one of their favorite places to go is Slate Canyon! It had become a special place for them, so it was the perfect spot for a proposal. It’s actually where they said “I love you” for the first time! So cute, huh? When the time came to propose, David planned out a fun Sunday evening for the two of them at their favorite spot in the canyon. He mentioned that they should watch the sunset and take a few pictures. He set up his phone underneath the same tree they’d snuggled at before, and got down on one knee! In his words, he said “Julie, I want you to be my wife.” And of course, she said yes!

Julie and David got married right in the middle of Covid craziness, but they absolutely made the best of it! Their wedding was at the beautiful Provo City Center Temple, and they had a reception afterwards at the Chillon in Spanish Fork. It was a perfect fall day. We really couldn’t have asked for better weather! Julie and David’s wedding day was spent with family, friends, and most importantly, each other. And that’s exactly how it should be!
