If I could only use a few words to describe Madalyn and Andrew’s summer Idaho wedding day, these would be them! From the sweetest father-daughter dance to the stylish getaway Porsche, it was a day to remember.
We started the day at Madalyn’s home in Eagle, Idaho where she got ready with her mom, sisters, and a few of her eighteen bridesmaids. You read that right, nearly TWENTY. After getting ready, Madalyn switched things up a bit and did the sweetest first look with her dad and brothers. Normally, we’d be pressed for time for something like this, but Andrew and Madalyn had already shared a private first look in the Provo Canyon mountains, so we didn’t need to worry about taking any of their photos before the ceremony. After the daddy-daughter first look, it was time for Andrew to pick up his bride and head to the Meridian Temple for a church sealing ceremony.
After their ceremony, the happy couple exited the temple to a crowd of cheering family and friends! We gathered everyone for family photos and, of course, bridal party photos. There’s no way we were forgetting this bridal party - the final groomsmen count was 22! Andrew and Madalyn are so loved!
I captured some gorgeous husband and wife photos as they performed a special ring ceremony, then it was time for the reception to begin. From emotional toasts to a memorable cake-cutting, it was such a special celebration. Once the sun went down, the real party began! The light from the twinkle tent was the perfect backdrop for a night of nonstop dancing with the most energetic crowd.
The evening ended with a romantic first dance and a grand sparkler exit. Madalyn and Andrew ran past their closest friends and family to a classic Porsche waiting for them at the end of the line. They hopped in their stunning ride and headed out on their honeymoon!
