Read MoreI am especially excited to share this gorgeous backyard wedding with you because Braden and Abby are middle school sweethearts! Isn’t that that the sweetest thing you’ve ever heard? This wedding has been in the making for a very long time. Talk about meant to be. This couple's creativity blew me away with every detail of their wedding. I hadn't really seen their creative side during our previous photoshoots, so getting to experience it at their wedding was such a treat. The decor at the wedding included gorgeous greenery with white and copper accents, which I loved! A really special touch was the wedding cake made by Abby's sister and Braden and Abby had the cutest send-off. They had the wedding party blow bubbles as they left on their honeymoon. Every detail during their big day seemed intentional, creative, and classy.
Read MoreMeet the happiest couple you ever saw, Courtney and Ashton! Aren’t they the cutest? Not only were they the cutest, but they were also the perfect couple to photograph for this location in the gorgeous mountains of Park City in Northern Utah. One of the many things this couple has in common, and something I was very grateful for during this shoot, is that they are both very adventurous, so these incredible mountain views suited their adventurous personality perfectly.

Had either of these things happened, and these two may have never married, which would have been so sad for all three of us! But fate (and COVID) had other plans, which brought these two together and led to them getting married.

Read MoreOf all the new wedding traditions that have popped up over the past few years, taking photos of a couples “first look” is absolutely my favorite. If you’re not familiar with the term, a first look is when a couple takes some time on their wedding day, before their ceremony, to see each other for the first time in their wedding attire. First looks are usually tender, emotional moments between the bride and groom.
Read MoreBy nature, weddings are all about tradition. Everything from where you hold your wedding ceremony to how long the celebrations last are all deeply rooted in the traditions of not only the brides + grooms families and community, but history itself.

Read MoreI may be a little biased, but picking photo locations is one of the best parts of wedding planning. For formal pictures, your location should be the perfect accent to your outfits, colors, and the overall vibe of your photoshoot.
